About

Beth is a dynamic and energetic professional storyteller working in the North of England.

She is acclaimed for her engaging, musical and interactive style of performing and has 20 years of experience working with children and families, storytelling in schools, museums, libraries, festivals, historical sites, outside and in the great outdoors.

She has QTS (English and Drama at Secondary), BA in English Lit, public liability and DBS.

Beth is passionate about making stories accessible to all, and with her magic box of wonder, Beth will conjure and co – create tales from all over the world using drama, props, song and artefacts tailored to your event or topic and audience.

Immersive, sensory storytelling means you get to scratch for grain with little red hen, learn archery with Robin Hood, toast to Knights at the court of King Arthur, run through the enchanted woods of the Baba Yaga witch and sing songs with Irish giants and Welsh mermaids.

This is the perfect way to create community and a sense of togetherness whilst fostering a love of the epic stories that form the bedrock of our literary heritage.

“What a fantastic story-telling session!  Beth combined story, drama, music and sound effects to create a superb experience.  The children particularly loved the audience participation and the teachers were also inspired to incorporate more drama into the classroom – thanks Beth!”
