March 10th 11pm Darwen Library Darwen Stories of strong women and fiesty girls told in celebration of 100 years of votes for women and International women’s day. You can expect some singing, monsters to defeat and lots of fun!

March 17th Barrow Museum Chesterfield 12.30-2pm Out the window I can see…Join us for a magical adventure on a story train to meet giants, mermaids, trickster spiders, enchanted trees and greedy kings across the wilds of Britain and the world beyond… We will follow the storytelling with a giant postcard/ mask making craft workshop.

 Saturday 5th May at 10am at Wath Library Magical Tales from the Trees Join me for some interactive stories about tree fairies, evil witches and magical trees! Suitable for ages 4-11

Wednesday 22nd February at 10.30-12.30 Tales by the Fireside at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet Meet a shepherd who stumbles across some enchanted gold, an old lady who faces a terrifying monster in the Himalayan mountains and find out what happened when the Chinese emperor invited all the animals, including dragon and cockerel, to his party.

Tuesday 11th April at 10.30-11.15 at Crystal Peaks Library Stories for little ones Age 2+ Some favourite children’s folk tales from around the world such as Monkey see, Monkey do, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Gingerbread Man.

Thursday 20th April at 2pm Parson’s Cross Library at 2pm  Noodle heads and Numbskulls  Ages 5-11 Some of the silliest characters you could ever imagine meeting. For instance, there’s the King who decided to build a tower to the moon, the fisherman who got a sausage stuck to his nose and a girl who didn’t think twice about asking for the tail of a deadly forest creature.

Friday 2pm 21st April at Central Children’s Library Noodle heads and Numbskulls Ages 5-11 Some of the silliest characters you could ever imagine meeting. Saturday 29th April at 10am at Wath Library Magical creatures and Mythical beasts Terrific tales of magical and mythical creatures. Meet a brave old lady who faced up to a monster in the Himalayas, a very determined rooster that gets his own back on a thieving king and find out how a not to waste a magic wish! Suitable for children age 5-11

Sunday 4th June Totfest on The Moor Sheffield Centre All day Interactive stories from all over the World performed with music and props. Ages 2- 7.

Ecclesall Library 2pm.  Monday 7th August. Magical Beasts and Mythical Monsters. Tooth, scale and claws…  meet the monsters! Terrific tales of monsters and mythical creatures all the way from the snowy peaks of the Himalayas and the palaces of Turkey to the lush forests of Thailand. After the session Beth will lead a craft activity in Monster Mask Making.

Crystal Peaks Library Thursday 17th August.  Animal Antics Animal adventures from every corner of the world. Meet a magical African tree, a tricksy spider who convinces his friends to go to a magical island and find out how a fast-talking hare won a competition against all the other animals. After the storytelling, Beth will lead a craft activity in animal mask making.  Suitable for ages 4-10

Sheffield Organic Growers 14th October Apple day 1pm                                     Interactive and magical stories of trees and a delicious soup will be followed by an autumnal craft. All as part of Sheffield Organic Growers apple day. Real Soup and other apple related activities will be happening too! Day 12-3pm.

Penistone Butcher’s Residential 28th October 4pm Spooky stories, spell making and Songs for children to get you in the mood for Halloween. Interactive and musical.
